Strongheart

Strongheart was rescued from an abattoir overnight as a newly born calf. He was destined to be slaughtered the next morning.

Strongheart and his friends Big Boy and Cecil were all set to be killed as calves. Because they would never grow up to produce milk they were considered ‘wastage’ to the dairy industry. Dairy cows have to be impregnated regularly in order to produce milk.

Strongheart, Big Boy and Cecil live happily at Liberation Sanctuary, where they roam so free they often can’t be spotted unless you go for a long walk! The boys live and roam with seven other cows and steers, and are free from harm, forever.
