Liberation Sanctuary Tours

Visit Liberation Sanctuary for an unforgettable experience meeting rescued farm animals.

New tour dates will be announced in 2026.

In 2025 we opened our gates to the public for the first time ever, for a limited series of free sanctuary tours. The tours were a great success and we will be announcing 2026 dates in January.

Established in 1986, Liberation Sanctuary is Australia’s longest running farm rescue sanctuary. Located on 45 acres amongst the picturesque Tetoora Road hills, we are just an hour and a half from Melbourne.

About Your Visit

The tours last approximately 1.5 hours and you will meet our rescued animals, including the special needs cows and sheep, the main north valley alpaca, cow and sheep herds, the denizens of pigland, the goat and deer tribes, as well as the many chickens, roosters, geese and ducks roaming around.

You will hear heart warming stories of liberation and survival against the odds, and learn about the reality of animal agriculture systems. There will also be opportunities to help with some of the animal feeds, all while taking in the incredible Gippsland views.

Pack a Picnic

You are welcome to pack a vegan lunch and after your tour is complete you can take a leisurely stroll to sunset point to enjoy your meal and the stunning views.
