Breakfast for a grown up pig is over-night soaked steam rolled oats and micronised barley. In the morning pollard, some apple cider vinegar and molasses is added.
An assortment of vegetables, fruits and grains is on the menu for dinner, depending on what is available, cheap and delicious that season!
Animals who are exploited and farmed live short lives before they are slaughtered. However if given the chance, they can live full, long and happy lives!
Broiler birds are selectively bred to be very heavy, as this means more 'meat' to be sold. This weight can leave rescue chickens with some very sore feet...
