Percy’s story

Percy was only hours old when a kind couple spotted her on the side of the Nullarbor Highway, more than eight hours west of Adelaide. She still had her umbilical cord attached.

We believe Percy was born while her mother was being transported and fell from the truck onto the highway. Her mother would have watched helplessly as the truck drove away.

With road trains and animal transport trucks thundering past, Percy would never have survived if she hadn’t been found. We bottle-fed Percy around the clock until she was strong enough to join the other sheep in the valley.

Today, she spends her evenings watching the sunset, grazing with her sheep family, and simply being who she was always meant to be.🐑

Percy will never face the horrors of the slaughterhouse. Only home and family at Liberation Sanctuary. ❤️

Every animal on those trucks wants to live.

May all be free!

Every animal values their own life! No animal should enter the world on a transport truck bound for slaughter.😥

The single biggest thing you can do for them is stop supporting animal exploitation. Go vegan! 💚
