Salem

Salem made her own way to Liberation Sanctuary - she must’ve known she would be welcome here!

Salem was found hanging around the property at Liberation Sanctuary.  Slowly we gained her trust by feeding her regularly and talking to her kindly.  We gently captured her to take her for a full health check at our vet, particularly because we noticed her skin and ears were not in the best shape.  It was discovered that Salem had been microchipped and unfortunately she had to be collected by the pound, despite all our best efforts to look after her whilst her owner was attempted to be found.  After a week unclaimed, we were so grateful that we could officially adopt Salem and bring her back home.

Salem now enjoys life with our 3 other Sanctuary cats safe and protected inside with a big fenced in deck outside to enjoy the sun and fresh air.
