Found orphaned and alone on the side of the Nullarbor Highway 8.5hrs West of Adelaide
Percy was in the middle of nowhere and there were big animal transport’s barreling down the highway. This tiny newborn still had a bloody umbilical cord when a kind couple saw her and quickly whisked her off the roadway before she was crushed. We suspect she was born in transit and her poor mother saw her fall onto the roadway. Pregnant animals aren’t supposed to be transported but of course this routinely happens.
