Kang
Bottle fed for 3 months, the majestic Sambar deer Kang has called Liberation Sanctuary home since May 2016.
Found by a hunter near his deceased mother on the road, Kang was surrendered to a wildlife carer before making his way to our Sanctuary.
Kang is the sweetest boy who wins the hearts of all who meet him. He loves to greet everyone by sticking his nose through the deer fence to smell your breath and get kisses.
Kang lives in our specially built deer paddock with 6 goats and in 2022 when she was no longer a fawn, Nova the deer joined them. They are often seen in loving exchanges, free and safe from harm, forever.
