Big Boy

Destined to be killed simply for being a male born into the dairy industry, Big Boy was rescued from slaughter.

In late 2015, the then 5 day old bobby calf Big Boy, with his umbilical cord still attached, was rescued from the slaughterhouse and spared the cruel fate that so many others are not.

Big Boy now enjoys his days roaming the 45 acres of Liberation Sanctuary with his fellow herd members and will do so for the remainder of his days, which could be up to 20 years – a far cry from the 5 days the dairy industry had given him.
