Foggy is a pure Merino lamb, who rescuers found on a frosty, wet (and foggy) morning.

Foggy appeared newly born, his umbilical cord fresh and wet. Dead lambs were all around the paddock, some showing all the signs of hypothermia. They were some of the 10 to 15 million lambs that die in the first 48 hours of their life during winter lambing season, due to hypothermia, exposure and starvation.

Foggy received colostrum, a vet visit, some injections and constant care to help keep him going. He is now a strong and happy little boy!

Foggy was rescued as a part of ALV’s Wool Truth campaign, and his full rescue story can be found on the ALV website.
